Time and Attendance

TimeStar is a complete PC-based time and attendance system. Employees punch in and out on a TimeStar clock using magnetic (or bar code) badges. TimeStar records punch data and calculates hours worked based on a company's work rules and employment policies. It rounds off punches, calculates overtime, tracks shift pay differentials, and reports on tardiness and other timecard errors.

TimeStar provides various management and labor distribution reports which help businesses to control labor costs and track employee attendance. It eliminates most clerical tasks and errors associated with manual time clocks.

Time and Attendance - What is it?

As you are starting up your small business, consider implementing a time and attendance software application in order to track the hours your employees are working (and not "rounding" off their hours).

Employees sign in and out from any PC on the network. It also tracks sick, personal, and vacation days.

Looking for a time & attendance package that runs on the AS/400?

Kronos is the big name, of course. They have an AS/400 based package, but most of the local reps don't know much about it. The News/400 site has a great application search utility that you may want to try-- http://www.news400.com/prodvend/index.dbm
